The main purpose of the Account Manager is to win new business in the Surrey/London area as well as managing some existing clients. You are a professional, driven and enthusiastic individual who inspires trust and has the ability to create a great working atmosphere. We are looking for a team player who delivers results.
You will report to the Sales Director and your main duties will be:
- Full client lifecycle management: upgrading, upselling and cross-selling new solutions
- Maintain and grow relationships with potential and current clients
- Assess and evaluate print management requirements, defining approach for new and existing clients
- Prepare proposals and presentations for prospective and existing customers
- Closing deals and delivery of KPIs
The ideal candidate must have:
- At least five years’ sales/account management experience preferably within the MFD/Managed print industry
- Strong demonstrable face-to-face selling experience OR telesales / appointment booking experience
- The ability to develop long term relationships with clients
- The ability to run a 360-degree sales cycle from first contact through to closing the deal and overseeing a smooth implementation
- Excellent verbal and face-to-face communication skills and be well presented
- A full clean driving licence
- Knowledge of industry solutions would be of advantage, but are not necessary as all manufacturer training will be provided.
